“Close to my Heart” Consultant, June Gottlieb will provide instruction and materials for making 2 Christmas cards with envelopes for $7. Samples available at the library.

As part of the YHC High School Honor Band Clinic, the Ringgold High School Wind Symphony will provide a free concert that’s open to the public.

“Phantom of the Universe” – From the journey of protons racing through the world’s largest particle collider to close-up views of the Big Bang, this new full-dome show is designed to immerse audiences in the search for dark matter.

Aaron O’Rourke began teaching and performing on mountain dulcimer at the age of 16. In a short period of time, Aaron became one of the headlining names at dulcimer camps and traditional music events across the US.
Felting Class – Saturday, January 19, 9:00 am – 4:30 pm, Lasso the Moon Alpaca Farm, Blairsville *
Learn to felt using alpaca fiber from our alpacas at Lasso the Moon Alpaca Farm. This one day class will teach you all the basics needed to finish a gorgeous scarf using loads of textures, including mohair locks, dyed silks, silk hankies, bamboo, fire star, suri alpaca locks & dyed alpaca fiber from our animals. $99 covers farm to table lunch & all materials needed for the day.

Like a contra dance, each English Country dance is made up of short, fun, easy-to-learn figures. If you are a beginner and want to learn what English Country dancing is all about, be sure to come to the first half. The second half will include slightly more challenging dances for those with more dance experience.
