Theater – Friday & Saturday, February 21 & 22, 7 pm plus 2 pm matinee on Saturday, Glenn-McGinnis Hall at Young Harris College *
Theatre Young Harris will present “Little Shop of Horrors.” A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, “Little Shop of Horrors” has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for more than 30 years.

Na Skylark, which simply means “the skylarks” in Irish, is an all-female trio dedicated to playing the traditional music of Ireland, Scotland, and other Celtic lands on Ireland’s national instruments: the Irish harp, and the Irish uilleann (“elbow”) pipes. From there, na Skylark weaves these voices and others – Irish song, flutes and whistles, fiddle, and the Appalachian mountain dulcimer into a tapestry of sound and feeling that has delighted audiences large and small across the eastern United States.
Planetarium Show – Friday, February 21, 8:00 pm, Rollins Planetarium, Young Harris College *
“Explore” – This show explores the story of humanity’s fascination with the stars—from ancient stargazers to the breakthrough discoveries of scientists like Johannes Kepler. Have you ever wondered how our modern spacecraft can navigate quickly and accurately to Earth orbit and beyond? Kepler’s Laws are fundamental in physics and astronomy and central to modern spaceflight. The show demonstrates how those laws work using simple, easy-to-understand animations and clear explanations.

A study on Bluebirds – you will learn about the habitats that Bluebirds thrive in, the food sources they need and the life history of these beautiful birds.
Craft Class – Saturday, February 22, 3 – 5 pm, Blue Ridge Mountain Arts Association *
“Acrylic Art Pouring” – Take time to step away from the busyness of everyday life to explore the hottest new art technique…fluid acrylic paint pouring. It is an exciting yet relaxing form of expressive intuitive art with infinite outcomes. You will experience basic pouring, bottle pours, flip cup techniques and more. The acrylic paints react with each other when combined to make interesting and visually appealing designs. No Artistic ability is required.

The 5th Annual Woody Gap Band of Steel Gala – we will be offering for your enjoyment festive steel drum music, catered prime rib or herb roasted chicken dinner, dancing, silent auction, photo booth and a decadent dessert bar by Melissa’s Custom Cakes Bakery.

“Waste Basket Making Class” – Beginners and experienced basket makers will enjoy making this 14” high basket. It’s almost too pretty to use for rubbish! Space is limited so call to reserve your seat.
Food – Sunday, February 23, 12 noon – 5 pm, Trailful Outdoors, Co, Hiawassee
Enjoy a free pour-over coffee every Sunday at from our Trailful ’73 VW Camper! Come by to hang out, find a great local hike, or just grab a cup and go on the way to your adventures. Every Sunday at Trailful in downtown Hiawassee.
